By July 22,2008 we had a "well" that is about 360 ft. deep
It will pump 40 gallons a minute. Ain't GOD good!
And the plumbing is roughed in.

THE PLAN NOW IS TO START THE FIRST HOME.

"IT POURED" SO I GUESS WE WILL RE-DIG THE FOOTER'S

STRAIGHT OVER THE PUMP HOUSE IS THE BASEMENT HOLE.
IT IS JUNE 23, 2009 FOOTER'S BEING POURED

Thank you for visiting Canaan Land Children's Home's web page, We hope you enjoy looking around in it. We want to give as much information to you as we can about Canaan Land Children's Home and how construction is progressing.
We have set up this page called "Breaking Ground" to give those who visit the web page information on the construction progress of phase one and two of the home which is the office and first home.
When these two buildings are completed this will allow us to open the home for children in need.
We will be changing the pictures from time to time as construction proceeds for you to view. We invite you to come by the construction sight and see it first hand. It's located 7 or 8/10 mile off HWY 89 West, on Sparger Rd.
Walter Hawkins Jr. of Walter Hawkins Construction Co. is overseeing the construction and Warren King of Warren King Construction Co. which is one of our Board Members has donated equipment and time toward construction.
